Ten Harvests
Beatriz came up for one September to help her aunt with the harvest and complained about the heat to anyone who would listen, which is how Tomás met her — he was the one who kept refilling her water and not arguing. She came back the next September, and the one after, and somewhere around the fourth she stopped calling it a visit. Ten harvests on, they are marrying on the terrace where she first put a crate down and swore she would never do this again. She has done it every year since. Come and stand in the rows with them.
