This Privacy Policy explains how RSVPMePls ("Platform", "Service", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use our website, applications, and related services. It applies to event hosts who create accounts and to guests who interact with event pages and invitations.

By using RSVPMePls, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy covers how we handle personal data; your use of the Service is also governed by our Terms and Conditions.

We process personal information in line with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its implementing rules.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Your name and email address
• An encrypted (hashed) password, if you register with email and password
• Your account plan, SMS credit balance, and sender name preferences
• Account timestamps such as account creation and last login

2.2 Information from Facebook Login

If you choose to sign in with Facebook, Meta shares with us only the information you authorize, namely your name, email address, and public profile. We store a Facebook account identifier (a unique ID) to link your Facebook login to your RSVPMePls account. We do not receive or store your Facebook password, and we do not post to Facebook on your behalf.

2.3 Guest Information You Provide

As an event host, you may upload or enter information about your guests, such as their names, phone numbers, email addresses, and RSVP responses. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to provide this information. For this data, you act as the controller and RSVPMePls acts as a processor on your behalf, as described in our Terms and Conditions.

2.4 Payment Information

When you purchase SMS credits or paid plans, payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. We receive confirmation of your transaction but we do not collect or store your full payment card details on our systems.

2.5 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our Service, we and our analytics partners automatically collect certain technical information, including:

• Device and browser information (such as browser type and operating system)
• IP address and approximate location derived from it
• Usage information such as pages viewed, links clicked, and referring pages
• Data collected through cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel

3. How We Use Your Information

We process personal information for the following clear and specific purposes:

• To create and manage your account and authenticate your logins
• To provide the Service, including event pages, RSVP collection, and guest management
• To send SMS and email invitations, reminders, and event-related communications on your behalf
• To process payments and maintain your SMS credit balance
• To understand usage, measure performance, and improve our Service through analytics
• To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, spam, and security issues
• To respond to your inquiries and provide customer support

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Service is used. These include:

• Essential cookies — required for authentication, sessions, and security.
• Google Analytics — helps us measure traffic and usage. See Google's Privacy Policy and the Google Analytics Opt-out.
• Meta Pixel — provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. to measure and improve our advertising. Data collected by the Meta Pixel may be used by Meta in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

You can control or disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect your ability to use parts of the Service.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• Service providers. We use trusted providers that process data on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations and only to operate the Service. These include a payment processor; cloud hosting, storage, and email providers; an SMS delivery provider; and database and infrastructure providers.
• Analytics and login partners. Google (Google Analytics) and Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook Login and the Meta Pixel) receive limited information as described in this Policy and process it under their own privacy policies, linked above.
• Legal and safety. We may disclose information to law enforcement, regulators, or other authorities when required by a valid legal request, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or RSVPMePls, consistent with our Terms and Conditions.
• Business transfers. If RSVPMePls is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. After your account is closed, we may retain certain information for legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and legitimate business purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

Subject to applicable law, including the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
• Request deletion of your personal information (see Section 8)

Our Service is intended for users who are at least 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

11. International Data Transfers

We use reputable cloud infrastructure to operate the Service. Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside the Philippines. Where this occurs, we take steps to ensure your information remains protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes may be communicated through the Service.
